My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

During the recording on Beyonce’s album ‘4’, Kanye came by the studio one day.  He ended up playing ‘All Of The Lights’, which at the time had no hook.  The Dream was working in the studio with us, so Kanye asked him to write something.  He came up with the hook that you hear, and he’s layered in the hook with a bunch of other great artists.  Perfect example of how spontaneity often makes the best records.  Just being in the room with someone, and not sending files across the country, I’m my experience usually leads to magic.
