I Am…World Tour

Beyonce gave me the opportunity to mix the DVD of her I Am World Tour.  We had a tight deadline and we were already in the studio working on her album ‘4’, so we took a few days off from the album to finish this.  It was a relatively large undertaking, as I had never mixed in 5.1 surround sound before, and there was only two days to get it done.  But I believe pressure yields the best results.  I ended up finishing the mix in one straight shot, 40 hours.  Oddly I didn’t get tired until it was over.  I guess I was so excited to work on it, the adrenaline kept me going.  In the end I was incredibly happy with the final product.
