From Nothin’ to Somethin’

This is another project that is very special to me.  It was the first album I ever engineered, and it began almost 1 year to the day after I moved to New York City to begin my career in 2005.  I had only started interning for Duro 7 months prior to beginning this project, so it was a very speedy process.  I remember a lot of long days, and longer nights during the making of the record.  I would work assisting Duro during the day, then I would work with Fab at night, often til the sun rose, and start again just a few hours later.  But at that time I was so excited to be working it never felt like a day of work, and it still doesn’t.  I hope as long as I work in this business, I can maintain that level of excitement for my craft.
